TJ is a seasoned IT Sales, Implementation, and Architecture professional with 30+ years of experience solving business issues with both technology and organizational solutions. TJ understands technology but also people. TJ is engaged daily with functional business managers to help many Fortune 500 companies realize their technology vision. While managing and participating in global high-performance teams, he continues to learn that seeing his team succeed is his joy. 

TJ’s skills and abilities are tested each time he enters a complex situation and is tasked with producing an optimized workload-focused solution understanding all areas of the design to help drive a business outcome, staying on budget, and achieving operational excellence.

TJ is a bridge builder who is consistently asked to help solve technology and business issues and has demonstrated that he can immediately impact any organization. TJ’s ability to lead, technology insight, strategic vision, work with large corporate budgets, implement processes & procedures, and vendor management expertise is why he is qualified to SERVE the citizens of Mableton as City Council District 5.

Family Life

TJ and his wife LaTrese, who celebrate 20 years of marriage in 2023, have lived in Mableton since April 2005. LaTrese is a higher-ed professional serving as the Director of Workplace Learning & Professional Development for Georgia Tech. They are the proud parents of Bethany Corrine (2010) and Mr. Puggles (2009) a pug & beagle mix. TJ enjoys running, biking, hiking, reading (because Leaders are Readers), traveling with his family to explore the world, and especially eating the world’s cuisines.
