TJ is a Solution Architect and IT leader with more than 30 years of experience, including service in the U.S. Navy and leadership roles supporting federal, state, and local governments as well as Fortune 500 companies. Today, he is stepping forward to serve the residents of District 5 and help shape the future of the City of Mableton.
TJ and his wife, LaTrese, have called Mableton home since 2004, where they are raising their daughter, Bethany Corrine. A longtime community volunteer, TJ served more than five years as President of the Brookwood Park HOA and has been active in churches across metro Atlanta supporting men’s, couples’, and youth groups. He is also a graduate of Leadership Cobb (LC22) an experience that deepened his understanding of the opportunities and responsibilities of civic leadership.
The incorporation of the City of Mableton in 2022 reignited TJ’s passion for public service. He believes government should be transparent, ethical, and accessible to the people it serves. His vision is to help build a Mableton that honors its history while embracing innovation, beautification, and sustainable growth. TJ’s goal is simple: to be a civil servant the residents of District 5 and the City of Mableton can be proud of and make Mableton a city families are proud to call home.
